I was skeptical about the "animalic" claim, but this patchouli blends that musky edge with real opulence—it's dark without being heavy-handed. The 100ml bottle is hefty too, so it feels like a proper investment piece for my collection.
Smells like expensive trouble in the best way—that patchouli is deep and earthy, but the musky undercurrent makes it almost feral. I sprayed it on my scarf yesterday morning and can still catch whiffs of it now, which says a lot for a 100ml bottle that'll last me ages.
The dry-down is pure animalic musk, and the patchouli stays dark and carnal for hours without turning soapy. I've worn it to work and it's powerful enough to get noticed, but it never feels loud or cheap. This bottle will last me forever because a single spray is plenty.
